We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Business Development Manager for our team in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager is responsible for the acquisition new customers for Sabio by identifying, building and maintaining positive relationships with potential/target account customers, producing and driving the delivery of propositions for solutions and services offered to the client over a long sales cycle. Client interface is generally at the higher or executive management level both with business and IT contacts.

In order to be successful, a solid understanding of how technology can transform Customer Experience is required. A strong interlock with the Sabio Marketing function will drive the necessary demand and lead generation. This role requires a self-motivated, creative and challenging individual who has a good understanding of Solution Selling and Co-creation concepts

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Must have
  • 5+ years experience in a new business sales role, preferably in IT
  • Good understanding of the Customer Experience market and the transformation in this market
  • Solution Selling, Co-creation / Entrepreneurial Selling skills
  • Ability to work with the Marketing function on demand and lead generation activities
  • Challenger who is able to build mutual dependent relationships with clients
  • Ability to work with both business and IT contacts
  • Experience in working with technology partners, preferably the likes of Avaya, Genesys, Twilio and Google
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to translate market insights and trends into business opportunities for our clients and prospects
  • Ability to drive opportunities through lengthy and multidimensional sales cycles
