Group Bid Manager

We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Group Bid Manager to join our Sales Division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and contribute to the bid qualification process for new opportunities
  • Assemble and manage virtual bid teams comprising a variety of stakeholders.
  • Lead and motivate multi-functional teams in remote or complex environments
  • Motivate the team by generating a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere
  • Develop and manage the pursuit plan and direct the process for bids and maintain responsibility for the quality and consistency of all proposals
  • Analyse bids/proposals at all stages ensuring that the overall solution optimises client's chance of success
  • Set up overall strategy for the bid team including pre-Sales activities in co-operation with cross-discipline and onshore colleagues for qualification meetings, presentations and proposal presentations
  • Ensure overall consistency of the bid strategy and anticipate critical success factors

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven capability in delivering winning, large and complex product and services opportunities. 
  • Ideally has significant experience of bid campaign management from opportunity identification through to project delivery, and will provide valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution design.
  • Must be comfortable working at CEO / Director Level both internally and externally. 
  • Sound commercial understanding, P&L and risk management skills. 
  • Have the ability to manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities. 
  • Solid understanding and implementation of internal governance procedures.
