Implementation Specialist - Genesys Cloud

We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services team.

The successful candidate for this role will require a solid understanding of Genesys solutions and representative customer base, combined with an energetic and effective ‘can do’ approach to drive forward and enhance Sabio’s Genesys capability across group operations.  

Reporting to an Implementation Manager the role holder will be responsible for successful customer delivery of cutting-edge Genesys solutions both in customer premise and cloud-based environments.
Many of the deliverables in this role will be conducted remotely however occasional visits to client site locations throughout the UK, EMEA and APAC will be needed, therefore the role is global in nature hence mobility and flexibility being important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced end to end technical design of Genesys Cloud delivery projects including technical workshop delivery, technical requirements capture, authoring and sign off handling of technical design specification documentation.
  • Solution configuration of Genesys Cloud environment, this may be based on your own design or as a result of a handover from a colleague’s design phase.
  • Development and execution of standardised system, integration and E2E testing to ensure technical adherence of the system to design  
  • Supporting customers either remotely or onsite during the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project.  Providing functional advice, knowledge transfer and implementing configuration fixes or workarounds to raised UAT defects.
  • Supporting the customer either remotely or onsite during the project go live phase.  Ensuring a smooth and issue free introduction to the customer’s live use of their new Sabio delivered Genesys Cloud solution.
  • Out with the standard project delivery items above there are several activities that the successful candidate may be involved in dependant on the scope and boundaries of the agreed project deliverables.  This may include System pre-staging in Sabio Lab / Design and build of Proof of Concept solutions / Technical vendor escalation management

About You

  • Experience in the Design, Implementation and Support in the Genesys Cloud Environment
  • Proven track record of delivering complex contact centre solutions across all contact channels
  • Experience in delivering interaction flows using the Genesys Cloud Architect tool
  • Understanding of SIP, Data Networking, and Database environments
  • Good understanding of cloud architecture such as AWS and Google Cloud Micro Services
  • Proven problem-solving ability in respect to devising and implementing solutions to complex business problems 
  • Presentation delivery at all management levels – both internal and customer facing
  • Strong spoken and written English: ability to explain complex issues clearly and in detail
  • Experience in the design, implementation, and support of the Genesys Engage product set
  • Holds and active Genesys Cloud Professional certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases  
  • Software and solution troubleshooting experience
  • Awareness of Contact Centre industry trends, both operational and technical
  • Educated to a degree level or have achieved a senior level of equivalent industry experience
  • Strong Operating system knowledge and experience across both Windows and Linux Server environments
