An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and technically capable individual to join an expanding operational team as the lead developer responsible for internal system integration and development of our internal applications such as ServiceNow.
The primary focus of this role will be to design, build and implement key platform integrations, automations and Web Portal changes that enable the business to drive significant value from the applications we have to support a customer centric business strategy.
The role will entail transforming business requirements into technical solutions, utilising out of the box (low code/no code) capabilities across a wide applications set, as well as standard integrations with other systems utilizing REST API’s and 3rd party IPaaS technologies. Planning, estimating and sizing solutions is also a key requirement with a heavy focus on ensuring we protect our ability to upgrade the platforms in a seamless manner 1 – 2 times per annum.
To deliver successfully in this role you will have strong skills around Web Portal development and systems integration covering HTML, CSS, Angular, Javascript, SOAP, REST APIs, JSON.
As the lead developer you will help to mentor and develop other team members to be able to support the developments post golive and you will contribute significantly to change initiatives around the Service Portal, Mobile Applications, Virtual Agent, ServiceNow to ServiceNow ebonding requirements and other systems integration projects on our applications roadmap.

• Lead applications development across our key business platforms.
• Manage the development and release cycles including documentation and communications.
• Manage development projects in conjunction with 3rd party professional services. consultants, with primary focus around systems integrations and ServicePortal evolution and management.
• Input into the overall systems strategy and roadmap.
• Automate activities across the platform to reduce manual effort.
• Support BAU workload with technical solutions.
• Mentor and knowledge share within the team.
• Collaborate across a wide range of stakeholders to build out stories and develop.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- StrongWeb development experience covering (HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript, Jelly)
- Proven systems integration experience covering interfacing with external and partner API’s, supporting/re-developing existing REST/SOAP based solutions
- Hands-on experience using or administering any of the following applications: ServiceNow ITSM/CSM/ITOM, Jira, SalesForce and FinancialForce.
- Experience working to an Agile methodology
- A working knowledge of ITIL
- Ideally you are someone you shows a keen interest to move your career in the direction of Best in Class Applications such as ServiceNow & SalesForce/FinancialForce and want to work towards gaining certification status.
- You should be an excellent communicator with strong relationship/stakeholder management skills and have experience acting as an internal consultant.
