We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Management Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the management accounts of a subsidiary entity, including month end, P&L with commentary and balance sheet reconciliations.  Provide business partnering support to various areas of the business and insightful analysis to enable management to take informed decisions.  Collate data from the business to enable accurate forecasting.  Provide support and guidance to the other members of the finance team.  Support to the financial controller.
 Main Duties & Accountabilities:  

Months end
  •  Calculate and reconcile revenue, cost of sales and any costs (direct and indirect), including accruals, prepayments and deferrals 
  • Perform margin analysis and investigate material differences o   Intercompany reconciliations 
  • Prepare and sign off balance sheet recons for applicable accounts 
  • Prepare the management accounts with supporting schedules and commentary ·

 Fixed assets 
  •  Manage and update the fixed asset register on a monthly basis    
  • Pass required journals and reconcile accounts for additions, disposals, depreciation and impairment of assets · 
  •  Act as business partner for commercial and operational teams 
  • Provide annual audit support and assistance with drafting annual financial statements  
  • Assist in implementation of best practice systems and processes
  • Support on analysis required for FP&A 
  • Ad hoc analysis, tasks and project support

 Required skills, experience & knowledge:  
·  Recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification with minimum 5 years work experience
· Attention to detail
· Commercial awareness 
· Team management and staff development 
· Knowledge of accounting standards including IFRS/FRS 102, Companies Act, Tax and VAT legislation etc.
· Proficient in all MS Office packages, including advanced Excel (pivots, tables, big data etc.) 
·  Experience with any named accounting software package – experience with Sage would be advantageous
· Well organised and structured 
· Methodical and logical
· Experience in a tech /professional services business would be advantageous ·       Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment
