We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Lead Genesys Consultant to join our team in Madrid. 

The Lead Genesys Consultant is accountable for the operational success of the Spanish Genesys Professional Services Engineering Team. The person filling the role will have the ability of managing teams, working with customers and leading employees. They should also have a good grasp of Professional Services KPIs such as billable utilization.  
 
Key statistics: 

  • Responsible for a team of around 20 people and growing
  • A key role in a €3M Professional Services revenue business 
  • A key role in the safe delivery of hundreds of projects per year 
The successful candidate must be successful in running the team. This would be measured by staff wellbeing, professional growth and attrition. 

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Genesys Consultant will be responsible for ensuring everything is in place to maintain a high performing engineering team including: 
  • Effective scheduling of all engineering staff to ensure optimal delivery of projects 
  • Career Development Plans and objectives setting is completed and is highly effective 
  • Use of key measurements to measure success, such as: 
    o decreasing attrition rates  
    o learning and development time is being booked and delivered  
    o learning paths and development programmes are worked up on conjunction with the Group PS Practice Leaders

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

The person holding the role will: 
 
Technical 
  • Have a very strong understanding of the Professional Services performance KPIs (financial budget/forecast, availability, billable utilisation, wastage, etc. 
  • Have a very strong understanding of staff workload planning, and where the business should be taking action to grow and to optimize the existing resource base. 
  • Have a very strong understanding of drivers of good and bad quality – and what actions should be taken to replicate (good quality) or improve (on bad quality)  
People 
  • Have a track record and a credible plan to ensure employees are motivated to achieve agreed objectives in terms of workload balancing, efficiency and quality of the projects delivered backed by customer satisfaction metrics.  
  • Drive team skilling, to ensure that the team capability is aligned to business needs (certifications, new technologies and product functionality, etc.) 
  • Manage team member career progression, evaluating individual performance, agreeing individual objectives, and areas of improvement that contribute to each team member’s grow in Sabio. 
Customers 
  • Will have proven strong skills in stakeholder management, including senior levels in contingency situations.
