We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic AI Evangelist to join our team.
The AI Evangelist will play a pivotal role in driving Sabio’s AI program, particularly in the context of nuance migration and the broader AI technology landscape. This role is partner-led, requiring the individual to be a catalyst for business transformation by leveraging AI solutions to migrate clients from legacy systems, such as Nuance, to more advanced, integrated AI technologies. The Evangelist will spearhead efforts to ensure that Sabio’s clients are maximizing the potential of AI tools to enhance their operations. Key to this role will be driving the successful migration from Nuance to more flexible and cutting-edge AI platforms, while simultaneously building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, Avaya, and other strategic partners. The role has a sales and revenue-driving focus, with an expectation to generate circa £1 million in revenue.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Nuance Migration Strategy: Take a lead role in guiding clients through the migration from legacy systems (such as Nuance) to Sabio’s AI-driven solutions, ensuring smooth transitions, minimal disruption, and long-term success.
- Sales and Business Development: Develop and deliver targeted sales collateral that highlights the benefits of moving from Nuance to modern AI solutions, showcasing Sabio’s expertise in AI migration.
- Client and Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, Avaya, and other partners, ensuring they are well-supported throughout the migration process and beyond.
- Revenue Generation: Drive the achievement of sales targets, with a primary KPI of generating £1 million in revenue
- Client Engagement and Advisory: Provide expert advisory services to clients, particularly around the strategic advantages of moving away from legacy systems and adopting Sabio’s more agile, future-proof AI solutions.
- Program Execution and Advocacy: Act as a key spokesperson for Sabio’s AI initiatives, both internally and externally, championing the company’s transition and migration offerings to clients.
- Market Positioning: Position Sabio as a thought leader in AI, particularly in the context of migrating legacy solutions like Nuance, to influence key stakeholders and drive business adoption.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sabio’s sales, technical, and support teams to ensure the seamless delivery of AI solutions, especially during the migration process.
- Travel and Presence: Travel extensively to meet with clients and partners, or establish a presence in the US, to lead engagement and relationship-building efforts.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- AI and Technology Expertise: In-depth understanding of AI technologies, particularly in the context of AI migration from legacy systems like Nuance to more scalable, flexible AI platforms.
- Nuance Migration Knowledge: Proven experience and understanding of migrating from legacy systems (Nuance, Avaya, etc.) to modern AI solutions. Ability to articulate the value proposition of this shift and navigate potential challenges.
- Sales and Business Development Acumen: Strong sales expertise, particularly in the AI or technology space, with experience in driving revenue from complex solution sales.
- Relationship Building: Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with both clients and strategic partners, particularly in the AI and telecommunications sectors (e.g., Avaya).
- Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for influencing senior decision-makers and advocating for AI-driven business transformation.
- Problem-Solving and Solutioning: Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop customized, innovative AI solutions to address client needs, particularly during migrations.
- Project Management: Experience in managing complex AI projects, particularly migrations, from planning and implementation through to client adoption.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of global markets and the nuances of working across different cultural contexts, particularly with US-based clients.
Technologies
- AI Platforms and Tools: Knowledge of AI development tools and platforms, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and cloud AI services.
- Legacy Systems: Familiarity with Nuance, Avaya, and other legacy technologies commonly used in client environments that are ripe for migration to AI-based solutions.
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) that support AI workloads and migrations.
- CRM and Sales Tools: Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales tools to support lead generation and client tracking.
- Collaboration Tools: Proficiency with collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack) for global team communication and client interaction.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in AI technology, business development, or partner management roles, with specific experience in guiding clients through technology migrations (particularly from Nuance).
- Proven Success: Demonstrated ability to drive sales and business growth, with a proven track record of migrating clients from legacy systems to modern AI-driven solutions.
Certifications
- AI and Machine Learning Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Google AI, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, or similar are highly desirable.
- Sales Certifications: Certifications like Certified Professional Sales Leader (CPSL) or similar may be beneficial.
