Sabio appoints Director of Dimension Data’s Customer Experience Business unit to head its APAC operation
Sabio Appoints Harold Thng as Managing Director Asia Pacific operation to lead next major phase of growth across the region
SINGAPORE – Digital customer engagement technology specialist Sabio has appointed Harold Thng – previously Director of Dimension Data’s APAC Customer Experience Business Unit – as Managing Director of the company’s Asia Pacific operation, charged with driving Sabio’s next major phase of growth across the region.
Harold brings a track record of proven APAC communications business sales success to Sabio, having developed Jebsen & Jessen Communications – one of the South East Asia’s leading Avaya and Nice Systems partners – from a modest S$3 million turnover operation in 1988 to an S$70 million valuation prior to the business’ acquisition by Dimension Data Asia Pacific in 2016. Under his leadership, Jebsen & Jessen Communications’ Regional Business Unit expanded its operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam, growing to 300 people and clearly establishing itself as one of the region’s strongest Avaya Platinum partners.

Before joining Jebsen & Jessen Communications, Harold Thng worked in a range of positions for Singapore Telecom where he played a lead role in the planning, evolution and growth of the country’s digital network. Harold has also served as chairperson of Avaya’s APAC Partner Advisory Council since 2012. In addition to his telecommunications career, he also spent 25 years serving with the Singapore Army Reserves, withdrawing from active service with the rank of Major.
